These are Cross Country Mountain Bike Races located within a public park. Our courses are a mix of Single Track, Grass, Dirt and Paved Roads. Courses change weekly and are approx. 3-3.5mls in length. Riders of all abilities are welcome. Race distances range from 1 to 4 laps. An average adult lap time is about 18min.
We are using interval starts this year. Start times are approximate. We send 6 riders at a time in approx. 15sec intervals. Riders will pass through the finish line to begin and end their race. Kids races start at the finish line arch. Adult and Junior starts use the pavement or grass field depending on course direction.
Kids (6-9yr) – 2 short laps
Little J’s (10-12 Juniors) – 1 lap
Cat 4 Juniors - 2 laps
Cat 3 Adults and Juniors – 3 laps
Cat 4 Adults – 2 laps
Cat 1 Adults – 4 laps
Cat 2 Adults and Juniors – 3 laps
These guidelines apply to all racers, spectators and staff
- Masks/Face Coverings are recommended when not racing and in large crowds
- Practice social distancing where applicable
- Wash/Sanitize your hands often
- Stay home if sick

All racers need a $5 Timing Chip. This is a one time cost, you own it. Most of you probably have one already if you race bikes around here.
What does registration pay for?
Rider insurance, medical personnel, park rental fees, RFID timing, online registration/results and website, race numbers, toilets and our wonderful staff and park maintenance crew!
Cat 1 is the fastest group. This is similar to an Elite or Expert field. Cat 4 is the equivalent to a Beginner field. Our Junior categories start at age 10 and end at age 15. Our Kids race is age approx. 6-9 and races a shortened lap. The Kids race does not uses Timing Chips.
Within each start wave there are Men’s and Women’s Adult and U15 Boys/Girls Junior categories (There is no Cat 1 Junior category).
“Little J’s” is a 10-12yr Junior category that races one full course lap. Kids races score Boys and Girls separately.
Each category competes for the Points Series Overall which is the best 13 of 16 races. Adult and Junior points go 40 deep(Kids 15).
